By Leonard Maltin: The Great American Broadcast: A celebration of radio's golden years

A Wonderful resource book, but even better for just reading through page by page. Leonard Maltin has written the history of programming, writers, directors, soundeffects... Each chapter is almost a different book about specific things as the above. When in the last chapter it said something like "And that was the last drama broadcast ever heard on the golden age of radio" it moved me a lot. The book got me attached to OTR and itself so well. It made me feel as though I could just turn on the radio NOW and hear the programs, until then. A great book and certainly must have for all readers on the subject. I am speachless about how great it is!
