Captain Midnight

I'm trying to find information on the whereabouts of Captain Midnight ETs (transcription discs)--particularly the Skelly Oil (1938-1940) shows.

I also want information on copies of other Midnight shows which are currently lost (or not in general circulation).

If anyone has any information, please send me an email.

Thanks everybody!

I posed your question to an expert on this series, Stephen Kallis, Jr. Here is his reply:

"I've noticed that occasionally in the MP3 listings of Captain Midnight
shows offered on eBay, for example, that occasionally a "new" title will
be listed, and invariably these are secondary (or invented) titles for
duplicates of existing shows.

It's indeed possible that a few episodes are in limited circulation, but
since Ovaltine was absorbed into Novartis and Himmel Nutrition became
Ovaltine's distributor, the original files at Villa Park have been mostly
lost. The chances of finding new episodes is bleak.

Stephen A. Kallis, Jr."
