Great Idea, Poor Execution.

While a reference book that shows radio series airing days, times, and titles is a great idea, this book. The day-network arrangement does have some advantages, but this arrangement makes it very difficult to view network schedules side-by-side to see which programs were aired opposite each other.

The main problem I have is simply with the accuracy of the information. There are too many mistakes!
Examples:
The author lists the series "21st Precinct" was on Saturdays during its July 1953 to July 1956 run. Actually, the series ran from July 1953 to November 1, 1956 and only 11 out of the 159 "21st Precinct" episodes aired on Saturdays.

"Gunsmoke" isn't listed in the book even though it had a prime-time slot for over three years.

The author lists the series "CBS Radio Workshop" as airing on Fridays at 8:30 P.M. from October 1955 thru November 1956. "CBS Radio Workshop" actually began on January 27, 1956 and ran until November 02, 1956 on Fridays at 8:30 P.M. It was not cancelled, but rather moved to Sundays at 4:00 P.M. on November 04, 1956 until the end of the series on September 22, 1957.
