INVITATION TO LEARNING

Postby Lou » Mon Oct 24, 2005 1:15 pm

INVITATION TO LEARNING was an intellectual panel program about the discussion of literature ranging from "Moby Dick" to "The Pickwick Papers" with MANY guests including John Carradine, Norman Corwin, Lillian Gish, John Houseman, and many others. There is a new book documenting the history of the series, with memories of regular panelists and moderators and producers, including a lengthy and highly-detailed episode guide. The subject, I admit, is no way interesting compared to INNER SANCTUM or HAVE GUN - WILL TRAVEL, so this marks the first (and probably only) book written by Martin Grams, Jr. to be limited. Only 500 copies have been printed and individually numbered on the title page. Retails $15.00 plus $4.00 postage. Available from Amazon.com or INVITATION TO LEARNING BOOK, Po Box 189, Delta, PA 17314.
