The SERIES NAME contains the name of the OTR series, such as Gunsmoke or Abbott & Costello. Unfortunately, not everybody spelled the series name the same (examples: Abott and Costello, Abbot and costtello, etc). Since the search engine will find only EXACT matches for what you enter in these blocks, searching for "Abbott & Costello" will miss any alternate spellings, such as "Abbott and Costello". One way around this is to enter only part of the name. The search engine will look for that part within the data chunks.
In other words, if you entered "gun" in the SERIES block, you would eventually see all series that contained "gun", such as Gunsmoke, Dr. Sixgun; Have Gun, Will Travel, Man Behind The Gun, and maybe others. The general idea is to enter something unique enough to find only what you are interested in, yet broad enough to include other people's mistakes. Entering "guns" will probably show only Gunsmoke episodes.
The same concept is true for the EPISODE block. If you put something in the SERIES block, but left the EPISODE block blank, you will eventually see all episodes in each of the series that were found.
Tip 1: If you want a lot of data, leave blocks blank. If you want to narrow your search, put something in more blocks.
Tip 2: Case is ignored. Your query can be in UPPERCASE or lowercase or Mixed Case.
Tip 3: Sometimes, articles ("A", "The") were moved to the end of the episode name. For instance, "The Hand" would become "Hand, The". In these cases, your best search strategy would be to search for "Hand".
Tip 4: Some of the shows are marked as "(lost)". If you think you have one of these lost shows, please contact me!!!
