The dates are in YYMMDD format. If you see "00" as part of the date, that means the date is uncertain. Also. there might even have been typographical errors, so some shows may be incorrectly listed as rebroadcasts.
Lets say you wanted to search for all episodes of all shows that were broadcast on your birthday, and your birthday was January 30th, 1952. Simply leave all blocks blank, except for the date block. Enter 520130 in the date block. You should soon see all shows supposedly broadcast on that date. If you wanted to see shows broadcast on Jan 30th, any year, enter 0130 in the date block.
Tip: Not all shows in the database have valid dates. As mentioned above, "unknowns" are marked as 000000, or with a 00 in one of the YYMMDD positions. If the show has a 00 date, and you entered something else in the date block, that show will NOT appear in the output. Use the date search with care.
Tip: If you wanted to find ONLY Suspense shows broadcast in 1945, you might enter "susp" in the SERIES block, and "45" in the DATE block. You would eventually see all the 1945 Suspense episodes that had a date in the database.
