Your FBI</A></I> There were two OTR shows with "FBI" in their titles,
<I>The FBI In Peace and War</I> (CBS) and <I>This is Your FBI</I> (ABC).
As in <I>Crime Classics</I> and other shows, stories for <I>This is Your
FBI</I> were taken from real life (in this case, FBI records).  J. Edgar
Hoover (FBI Director) even appeared on the show's first broadcast, and
apparently endorsed the program.  The series lasted nearly eight years,
between 4/6/45 and 1/30/53.  This 1:38 soundbyte is taken from the 5/25/45
broadcast (Frank Lovejoy announcing).
