Famous Weekly Old-Time Radio Shows
Some readers may remember the 1949 film, The Third Man, starring Orson Welles. Welles played Harry Lime - a purveyor of outdated antibiotics in post-WW II Vienna. Near the end of the film, Lime meets his destiny as shots ring out in a sewer. In this intro to his 1952 radio series, Welles' portrayal of Harry Lime starts with the same shot. Great Zither music!
