I like Bob Bailey as Johnny Dollar and I am wondering if he is still alive.

That is a shame. I would've liked to let him know how much I enjoy his performances.

Do you know if there is a good biography of him somewhere?

There is no extensive biography available on Bob Bailey on the Internet.

The Radio Historical Association of Colorado has an 1982 John Dunning interview with Bob's daughter, Roberta Goodwin, in its tape libraries. The tape is available for rental to RHAC members.

I notice on the new Johnny Dollar Collection by Radio Spirits there is a
Photo of Bob Bailey on the cover.
He looks lanky or on the very thin side.

I am Bob Bailey's niece and would be very interested to hear from Robert Bailey Jr. or Roberta Bailey if they ever scan this page. Bjohnson@foodnetwork.com
