2012 RIP FOTR

36 years of success, and now the annual Friends of Old Time Radio (FOTR) convention will be no more.
The last convention was held Thursday October 20, 2011 - Sunday October 23, 2011, at the Ramada Plaza Hotel, Newark, New Jersey.
Jay Hickerson (one of the sponsors of this site) ran the convention from the beginning. Jay says one of the major reasons for discontinuing the get-together was lack of old-time radio stars to make guest appearances at the convention.
