Hi. Sammy Jones here. I've just joined the forum, and decided to drop a line to everyone...
I've been collecting OTR since about 1993, and have amassed a respectable collection of shows. Frustratingly, I'm trying to replace most shows with CD versions. I can't stand cassettes anymore.
I'm not really interested in mp3s, although I do have several thousand of them. But as sound quality and completeness are of great importance to me, some shows that I have large runs of on mp3 are being slowly replaced with true CD versions.
Some favorite shows: Amos 'n' Andy (primarlily 1928-1943 version), Lum and Abner, Captain Midnight, Superman, Yours Truly, Johnny Dollar, Little Orphan Annie, Sherlock Holmes, Shadow of Fu Manchu, Jack Benny, Fibber McGee and Molly, Burns and Allen....
I also collect original transcription discs (16" or smaller)--PLEASE MESSAGE ME IF YOU HAVE ANY TO GET RID OF!!!
Looking forward to reading and posting on the forum...
