Radio Voices
An interesting book is Prof. Michelle Hilmes "Radio Voices". An excellent read for the serious historian of OTR. She does have a feminist point of view, but her facts and conclusions are sound. Her other work is "Hollywood and Broadcasting" which does an excellent job of showing the relationship between the two and radio drama.
