Yesteryear USA radio runs "The Big Show" early in the
morning in this Central Time Zone, around 5am or so. That's on the internet. Wow! That, as I recall, was THEE last big variety show on radio that ran in the 50s. I had always been into radio since I came to understand as a kid in the 40s that the people in the radio were in another town. How can that be? Well "The Big Show" with Talullah Bankhead (spelling) had lots of those people inside the radio. Anyone else have
fond memories of TBS? Was it on the big NBC stage in Radio City in New York where the old Tonight Show was broadcast? And Meridith Wilson's music as a big part of that show. I'm glad he found fame later on with his musical, "The Music Man." Happy Re-
