As a kid in the late 40's (maybe lasting into the early 50's), I remember a radio soap opera type program about the lives of two women, as remember their names were Judy and Jane; this could have been the name of the program. Would like to know more about this; I don't remember the setting or other characters or their relationship. When did it start and how long was it on? I don't think it was among the top tier of programs of this type; could be wrong on this and other parts of my recollection.

You've got the right title, "Judy and Jane" but wrong era. This soap opera, sponsored by Folgers, came on the air on CBS in Feb 1932. It ran through April of 1935, mostly on NBC, but limited to Midwest. It was resurrected on Mutual in Aug of 1941 and lasted one year. About a dozen audio copies are in circulation.
