This may be a tough one to determine. But, I know that while on the NBC radio network, at least after 1938, the Jack Benny Programs were broadcast from the NBC Hollywood Radio City studios on Sunset Blvd at Vine Street...But, I have also heard that at least once, Benny did his show from the KFI radio studios in Los Angeles at 141 North Vermont, where the NBC affiliate had a 250-seat theater for live shows.
Does anyone know if this is true, and if Benny did any of his regular shows from KFI instead of the NBC studio site, what date or dates they took place? |
