Parkyakarkus was played by Harry Einstein, and he was a regular on The Eddie Cantor Show during the 1930s. In the forties, he had his very own sitcom, Meet Me at Parky's, which ran from 1945-48.

Harry's famous sons are Bob Einstein--who played "Officer Judy" on the 1960s The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour and later still was comedic stuntman Super Dave Osborne--and Albert Einstein, who was named after you-know-who but changed his last name to "Brooks" and became the director-star of films like Lost in America (1985) and Defending Your Life (1991).
