Hi,

I have just become an ardent fan of the otr show, "Gunsmoke"
I have read that on one show the subject of Chester's last name
came up, they say that Parley Baer just came out with the name
Proudfoot..what show did this happen on???

I have an episode of Gunsmoke from March 6th,1954 called "The Gentleman" where he is called ""Mr. Proudfoot" by a character who is supposed to be from Philadelphia so the episode I think you are looking for, and I maybe wrong, was from July of 1952-I don't have the exact date. Now I know someone else will come up with a better a
