Before I got a decent mp3 player I burned over a hundred audio CD's of OTR for use with my Walkman while traveling. Now I have no use for them myself and they take up a lot of space. I'd like to donate the lot of them if anyone knows of appropriate places for this.
Thanks

Good question. I wanted to donate some CD's I'd burned from downloads from a couple of web sites I subscribe to, to our local library.
They seemed to be concerned about copyright problems and declined. |

| Sally, if the CD's you want to donate are commercially made, and not MP3 downloads, then libraries should take them without a question for other patrons to listen to. However, if they are downloads, then yes they must question copyrights, since some libraries get their money to operate from their local gov't. Give it a try-that's all I can say....I don't know everything I must admit... |

My local library has accepted my OTR "extra" cassettes (they are now in circulation)...tho it may be becouse they were obviously from commercial sources.
I prefer to give away my "extra's" to friends as a gift. Alain |
