I am 94-years-old and new to using the computer. I am interested in meeting anyone who might have audiotape copies of old radio shows featuring Ted Healy & His Three Stooges (or the Three Stooges solo) as well as any Spike Jones Band appearances on radio. I am interested in these particular subjects because I am a comedian and was one of Ted Healy's original Stooges in vaudeville, and also toured with Spike Jones for many years after I left the Stooges. Please feel free to email me at mousiegarner@earthlink.net or look at photos of me and the Stooges at www.stoogebook.com. Thanks!

Wow, Mousie! Welcome to the wonderful world of the Internet and congratulations on being able to share such a wonderful life experience you've had.

There are lots of Spike Jones material available and hopefully someone will respond. I myself don't have any.

The Ted Healey material is probably very rare, if available. Were they possibly connected to radio under some particular show? They are not listed anywhere I could find under Ted Healey or the Three Stooges. I know they did a lot of vaudeville together before the Three Stooges made it big (for others, not themselves) in movies.

I'd love to hear some of your experiences with Ted Healey!

Ted Healy & His Three Stooges did a radio show from Los Angeles in the 1930s called The Metro Maxwell Hour (for Metro Goldwyn Mayer & Maxwell House Coffee). Does anyone have any information about this show, or tapes of it?

Hi, Mousie,

Spike broadcast 78 shows for Coca Cola in 1947-1949, but this was before you joined the troupe (in 1955).
