i know that some stations used to have their own actors and singers for their shows. can anyone tell me what the singers were called?

| In Dallas, Texas radio station WBAP had a broadcast team in the late 1930s called "The Early Birds". The singers were also called "Early Birds" and included Dale Evans. |
