I remember seeing somewhere about a device you can hook up to your computer which would allow one to send a signal to a radio in the house to be able to listen to the audio coming from the computer. Anyone have any info on that? Any help would be appreciated. Please feel free to reach me direct via email.
Thanks ahead of time.

Go to Google and do an 'Advanced Search'.
In the 'with the exact phrase' block, enter: low power transmitter.
In the 'at least one of the words' block, enter: computer.
I think you'll find what you're looking for in what comes up.

Thanks Jim for the info. It definetly helped! Now it's just a matter of figuring out which one is more effective.

Joe -

The first question to ask yourself is: "is the radio AM or FM?". The small FM transmitters usually have better audio quality and more stable tuning than do the small AM transmitters.

I use a device from Akoo called Kima. There are two parts - one hooks to the computer the other I set in any room and it transmits to virtually any radio in the house which is set to 88.3 FM.

It is so powerful, I have driven down the street for about a block and can still hear transmissions. At the time it cost me $99 for the pair, but while the two devices are a little ugly in design, I use it often and recommend it.

I believe the web site is something like akoo.com.

That sounds like the KIMA KS-110 and the web site is http://www.kimawireless.com.
Looks like it sells for $69.99 but when I click on the 'BUY NOW' button a 'page cannot be found' window comes up.
Doing a search for ir on Google comes up with quite a bit of info on it.

Thanks all for the guidance on this. I did finally send away for one that looks like it will do the job :) And it was on sale from the normal 69.00 price to 42.00 or so.
