We have sadly lost one of our greatest radio pioneers today, as well as vaudeville, movies, television and on many primitive USO stages all over the world from the 1940's to 1991.I'm glad to see he made it to his 100th birthday. We won't see his kind ever again and that is sadly too bad for us.We lost a big symbol of America this day and the only thing we have left is his recorded voice and his flickering image on reels of film and recordings. Our hearts go out to his widow and children!Lets all be glad we had him as long as we did.I've never known a year in my life when Bob Hope wasn't there as well as most of you.We always knew this day was coming, and knowing nobody could ever replace him?He was born in England but he was more American than some of us. He gave more than most. He gave us Bob Hope. Thanks for the memories, Bob, and God bless you! All the Radio,Television,Movies fans and Military Veterans! We salute You!
