1. If you see too many or too few messages in any of the BBSs, or very old messages when you expected to see only new messages, delete your browser's cookies for the BBS(s) affected, and visit the BBS(s) again. You may have to select new preferences to get things back to the way you expect.
The "Set Preferences" option is available in the navigation bar of each BBS (each BBS may have a different preference setting).
2. If you tried to visit the site and got a message that the site wasn't here, that message was due to some connectivity problems in Minnesota. Maybe Winter struck early? 
OTR (and old-time.com) are still alive and well on the WWW.
