Recently been listening to episodes of Tales of the Texas Rangers with Joel McCrea. There is an audition show called "Just a Number" on 4/19/50 that did not star Joel McCrea as Ranger Jace Pearson. The show listed no credits for this episode and I have been unable to find any information on it. Most sources list the above date for this show, but I also came across a source that listed this as the first episode of the series on 7-8-50, but I think that is incorrect because the same show with a different title comes up about 4 episodes into the original run. Hope someone can help. Thanks
