"Fibber's Magic Radio" was a sketch used on NBC's 25th Anniversary program in 1951. J. David Goldin's now defunct Radiola/Radio Yesteryear company used to sell copies of the sketch itself. I have not checked this site's sponsor pages for that specific item, but I imagine it is still floating around somewhere

Fibber's Magic Radio refers to a series of shows done with Chuck Schaden and Jim Jordan (Fibber McGee)for Chrysler Air-temp in the 1970's. I believe it was heard on the summer in Chicaog on WGN radio. In the series of shows these two (Jim Jordon as the radio entertainer and Chuck as the otr fan) discuss various programs which aired on a different day of the week. On the Show Chuck and Jim Reminese as Fibber tunes his superhetrodyne radio to different programs. If you want more information on the series try contacting Chuck Schaden at TWTDChuck@AOL.com. and I am sure he will give you any more information on the show

| Thnks Allen, for the clarification. Obviously J. Davd Goldin borrowed the "Magic Radio" title for his album of the same name which as issued on the Radiola label soon after the WGN show had aired. The album contained the NBC anniversary show. |
