"CBS Radio Mystery Theater", now called "Radio Mystery Theater" is available to your local National Public Radio station. Here is a note from Melina Brown, explaining the release.

Summary: Call your local NPR station and request the feed.

Hi everyone,

As far as Ive heard (and I belive this to be true but I wasnt at the meeting), RMT is available through the NPR satellite feed. The local Station Managers or Programmers get a bulletin telling them what is available. There is no central programming so each local station airs the shows that they want to pull off of the sattelite feed. If you go to the NPR page there is a map with lisiting of the stations in your area. The only thing to do, frustrating as it is, is to call or write your station and request it.

As rights holders we're glad to make it available if they will schedule it reasonably and regularly. Hi's aim has been to make it widely available on a regular basis on the air. Thats what he has been working towards. Its not a financial issue, but rather a presentation issue. Meantime, Hi continues to work, producing new shows as parts of other series, doing live shows in the NY area, and as always, his philanthropic work that is usually concentrated on the spoken word, reading, and education.

Thanks for your interest in the show and your time in contacting NPR. We would love to hear feedback (as Im sure NPR would also!) from anyone who has been able to find the show.

I cant really figure this one out.... Seems that a show has to gain its own momentum or something. Thats difficult if you cant find it.
