I was asking a little while ago about OTR Baseball. It was mentioned that MLB was given all the surviving transcriptions, and the general thought was that they would bury them.
Well check this out!http://mlb.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/mlb/shop/mlb_shop_bb_cassettes.jsp# They are charging quite a bit, but here they are!!!

| I believe it says that they are also available on cassette. Why is it that it seems that most places that sell OTR advertise the cassette variations and you have to search for the CD's? Do they believe that OTR fans are so behind the times that we still have not heard of this new fangled gadjet called "CD"? |

<www.rusc.com>, which is an OTR web site, has 3 games from the 1930's in MP3 format which can be downloaded.
They are: Cubs vs. White Sox from October 2, 1936, Yankees vs. Tigers from September 20,1934 and game 3 of the 1936 World Series between the Yankees and the Giants. You'll find the games in the Miscellaneous/Sport Catagory. He has a 3 day introductory offer for access to the web site for $2.95 or $7.50 a month. All money goes to maintain the web site. |

Yup, here is the link to the CD's:http://shop.mlb.com/dr/v2/ec_dynamic.main?sp=16&pn=55&sid=34935
But there are only 6 games from the decade of the 30's. I don't have the time to check to see how many they are removing from the other decades. Such a shame.
