I recently started listening to some of the otr stuff and I just wanted to know why is it so popular? I know for me it brings back memories of listening ot them with my mother. Also, could anybody list a few internet site that play any of the old soaps of the time, it would mean a lot. Thank You Julie |

A great place to start with your questions would be at the Old Time Radio Internet digest. It is a mailing list that gets sent out everyday to countless OTR enthusiasts, and a great place to discuss opinions, ask questions, and retrieve information. I am a part of this list, and very happy with it, too. I'm pretty sure the way to subscribe is to mail this address an e-mail old.time.radio-request@lofcom.com with SUBSCRIBE as the subjest heading. Otherwise, I think there is a link somewhere on this site, and probably the FAQ to give you more info. on this group.
