Just watched Paul Harvey being interviewed by Larry King.....
Surely he must have the longest running continuing newscast in radio history! Radio and radio news have changed so much in the 70-odd years of his radio career,,,,how does one explain the fact that a national "network" radio newscast, and commentator have remained so popular for so many years? Also, why did Mr Harvey not make the complete transition to television? Any comments? |

I believe Paul Harvey's real last name is Aurandt. He did make the transition briefly on Good Morning America doing his "The Rest of the Story" series for a short time for ABC News.
