Greetings. Could anyone possibly help out a professional documentary filmmaker? I’m seeking an obscure broadcast. It originated in Los Angeles, and aired on NBC on Friday, February 10 1933. I don't know the name of the show where this spot aired. It featured producer Merian C. Cooper talking about his upcoming movie, King Kong. I don’t know the length of the piece. It aired in Hollywood and further north in Santa Barbara. (Unknown if it was nationally broadcast.) It *might* be on a recording called “A Tribute to the Friends of Radio: A Celebration of 65 Years of Great Radio Advertising,” but I don’t have access to that piece. Thanks for any leads you can provide.

Steve---you might check both LA TIMES archives and
NY TIMES archives for radio broadcasts on 2-10-33....
Most large libraries have these papers on micro-film.
Program listings might give you a clue as to which
one might have been likely to ait this sort of info on
a radio program......I have looked up other dates from
these years with much success....Bill Kizer
