Hi, I am searching for info, tapes, etc. of two very old radio programs dating from the 1920s. These were broadcast in Maine and my mom, now 86, listened to them and has asked me to try to locate them.
The first is: Mr. Snoop and Mr. Peep - it had a jingle that went "if you awake and find that you've been murdered in your sleep, call for Mr. Snoop and Mr. Peep" The second is: The Dromedary Date Show with John McGovern. Thanks much, Sharon |

Sharon,
"Snoop and Peep" was a comical detective show that aired on NBC for most of 1931, but not after. Leads were played by Charles Finan and Paul Winkopp, and according to OTR researcher Jim Cox, they handled cases with goofy titles, like "Phil the Phoney Firebug" and "The Shooting of Dan McGoo." Alas for your mother's sake, no copies have survived. (Unlike, say other daffy duo's from that same era, "Si and Elmer" (with about 60 episodes in circulation) or "Detectives Black & Blue" (four copies.) Jack French
