I just signed a contract with Bear Manor Media to produce a book which will discuss every feminine crime-solver that appeared on network radio. We're aiming for a late fall 2003 completed manuscript.
There is plenty of available data on most of the better-known shows, including Candy Matson, Miss Pinkerton, Inc., Meet Miss Sherlock, etc. Some of the more obscure ones (Murder & Mrs. Chase, Susan Bright, Detective, Helen Holden, Government Girl, and Calamity Jane) have left no audio copies and little written data. Anyone in this loop have any info on the obscure shows? Jack French
