IMHO:
The number one news story was that Old Time Radio celebrated its 40th Birthday! OTR was born on September 30th, 1962 and is now 40 years young!!!

Happy birthday OTR and wishing you many more years...

The other stories of note would be how many great radio stars we lost in 2002...Parley Baer, Eddie Bracken, and many others...

The final story for 2002 is one of great promise for the future of OTR. XM Satellite Radio now features 24 hours a day of Old Time Radio Classics. This way OTR will be introduced to the next generation. (There is also Sonic Theater which features New Time Radio dramas from the CBC, BBC, and even www.transmediasf.com Imagination Theater from the USA.)

A blessed holiday season to all and -
Goodbye Y2k2 and let's see what it will be 2003!

I think that these will impact otr just as mu
