I'd like to get a particular show I've heard years ago but I don't have a clue as to the title. I *think* it was from the Inner Sanctum series, but really can't be sure. I'm certain it's not the Judas Clock title that I've seen, I've read the brief synopsis of that one.
This story was about an old clock that had demons locked up inside of it, and as long as the clock stayed within the sacred grounds of the vicar, the demons would remain locked up. Years later the clock was sold, and when it was removed from the church grounds by the new owners, the demons were able to get free and all hell literally broke lose. It was a frightful ending with the demons taking over the world. One of the main female character's voices in it reminded me of Julia Childs. If anyone has any idea what radio show this was, please please post. It's something I've been looking for for a long time now. Many thanks! |

I haven't heard it in years but a CBS Radio Mystery Theater episode, "Hickory Dickory Doom," comes to mind.

I don't know of the specific show you're looking for, but the voice that sounded like Julia Childs was probably that of Dame Mae Whitty. They sounded so much alike.
