I'm trying to find out where I can listen to/buy old "Al Pearce" radio shows. Possibly "Al Pearce and the Gang". My great-grandfather did some work on this show in the early 1940's. I know he did a speech on a commercial for the Al Pearce show in Nov. 1940. Possibly did several more spots for Al Pearce.
What's the best resource for me? Do most recorded shows also include the commercials? He may have also had an actual part on a show, besides doing the commercials. His name was Richard Lackaye/Dick Lackaye. Also worked with John B. Hughes on "News & Views with John B. Hughes", and they were good friends. Thanks!
