I have an episode of Suspense labelled "The Night Before Xmas" with Greer Garson, except it is missing the date. I looked at Jerry Haediges logs, and found two programs of this title... how do I differ the two, so I can find the correct date for mine?

According to the Jay Hickerson log I have the correct title is "It Was The Night Before Christmas" broadcast Dec 21, 1953 and Dec. 24, 1951 both starring Greer Garson. The one you have will be the 1953 version as Jay lists the 1951 version as not available. There are about 60 Suspense episodes that are not available. Don |

In my site at wjp-otr.com under SUSPENSE, I have a complete list of the missing shows (about 40 of them). A couple have surfaced lately, and I have a lead towards a couple more -- but don't hold your breath...

The way I was able to date the program (when I received the alledged 1951 version) was to check the date of Garson's movie mentioned during the show. The movie came out AFTER the 1951 show was aired. (1952 if I remember correctly)
