| Looking for information or actual braodcasts of the Dear Abby show that used to be broadcast over CBS radio 6 days a week in the 1960's. Harry Bartel used to feed Abby the questions which she would then answer. Believe the show was roughly 5 minutes a day, but I know it was on for several years. |

Don't have info on the show except that it lasted 12 years which would put it into the early 70s. Pauline Phillips did the actual on-mike answering of the letters read by Mr. Bartel ,but the script was written by her daughter Jeanne Phillips, who writes the column nowadays.
Not quite related, but in the 1963-65 era in my area, Los Angeles, the local CBS Radio/KNX daytime schedule was as follows: KNX 1070 (CBS News 10 mins top of every hour)
