Hi everyone,
Here's something that my brother spotted, I never noticed it before. In The Simpsons, the beer that Homer drinks is called Duff. Does anyone know if this is deliberately named after Duffy's Tavern? Cheers Henry |

| I would find it hard to believe that "Duff" beer would be named after Duffy for Duffy's Tavern...I think they named it "Duff" for old duffs like us who would know Duffy's tavern... |

| Actually I think "Duff" refers to one sitting on one's "duff" and swilling beer all day, as our beloved Homer does. |

| There is a strong similarity between Mo's Tavern and Duffy's Tavern. I don't think it's all coincidental, especially given the show's proclivity toward spoofs! |
