I am looking for any information related to three stations listed on my 1935 Detrola Dial. I have searched the WEB for these stations and I am about to give up on Detrola's accuracy. Station KBT (not KBTM or WKBT); Station WMOK (not the Metropolis IL station whish is not that old or the Indiana station of 1950-51); and what I believe is a mistaken call Station CRCW because I don't think Canada used an "R" though I have seen it on other Detrola sets.

There was no station KBT at any time in the 1930s -- KBTM in Jonesboro AR at 1200 kc was the only station in the entire decade to begin with KBT-.

There was no WMOK in the 1930s. This sequence of calls would have been issued in 1928 had it been issued sequentially, but it doesn't show up on any lists from that era. It may have been issued but never used.

There's also no listing for CRCW, although CRC- *was* a valid prefix during the 1932-37 period. CRC- stations were directly owned and operated by the Canadian Radio Commission, which was the official Canadian broadcasting authority prior to the formation of the CBC. In CRC stations, the fourth letter usually represented the initial of the city of license, so it might be that CRCW was a station planned for Winni
