| In the early fifties, I listened to a program that came on late, about 10PM....Theme was sci-fi and/or horror...One show used the then popular song, The Thing, as a basis for the story of the show....I vaguely recall that it might be Two Thousand Plus and, I've heard the twelve shows extant and, it's none of those...... Another possibility would be Hall of Fantasy but, so far no luck listening to these shows either...Does anyone recall it---from about 1953 or 54....??????????????????????????????????????????? |

CBS Mystery Theater did something like this in the 70s. A man on vacation overseas finds a note he can't read in his pocket, and everytime he asks someone to translate it for him, he is abruptly thrown out. Of course, he never finds out what the note says.
