around 1971 KHJ boss radio played bill drake's history of rock and roll for about 48 hours. I recorded much of it, but my tapes are not as clear or complete as I would prefer. At one time they gave away a copy to a listener as a prize. Any idea how I could get a cleaner copy?
Also krla had the evolution of rock by bill mcdonald. Would love a copy of this one also. thanks for any help locating these.. |

I don't have the 1971 History of rock & roll, but I do have the Bill Drake 1981 History of rock & roll. It's taped on (29) 90 minute cassettes, which should work out to be roughly 42-43 hours of material.

| If anyone is interested, the earliest KHJ History of Rock & Roll dates from early 1969, and was broadcast in the Boston area in Februar |
