| I am trying to determine the date and title of an Amos and Andy show which has Kingfish playing Santa Claus in a department store at Christmas. The phrase "Oh, Mr. Floorwalker" is prominent during the show as Kingfish encounters problems with the youngsters and their parents. Can anyone help? |

| This theme was done quite a few times, always at Christmas or, as close to it as the show would preceed...As far as I can recall though, Andy always played Santa---in order to earn some extra money to buy a big baby doll for Amosandra, Amos's little girl...Shows always ended with Amos explaining the meaning of The Lord's Prayer to Amosandra before the fell asleep...It was a wonderful story line--very popular...Of course, totally "un" politically c |
