I have come across a few tapes from this series, but they only have the copyright date of when the tape was released, with no indication of when it initially ran. The closest that they come to giving an idea of the timeframe of the series is the phrase "Vintage Radio Play".
Does anyone have any information on this series? When did it run? How many episodes were made? Is there a log for it at all? Thanks. |

| I have heard of it, and I would assume that it was made in the early 80's. That would be a guess, and I really don't know if there would be a log of that or not. I personally have never seen one. Sorry I couldn't be of much help, but atleast it's a general time frame. Shawn |

| Nope. I'm sure that it is pre-1980's since, in the 1980's, the CBC was doing "Nightfall". While the shows have a hint of the style of "Nightfall", they strike me as being a pre-cursor. My guess would be more in the 1960's, since the style is a bit more developed than shows like "Inner Sanctum" or "Lights Out", but not really "modern". |

The CBS Radio Mystery theater ran from January 6, 1974 until December 7, 1982. There are a huge number of shows available on some of the download sites formerly connected with Napster. Sorry. Wrong network, wrong show.
I'm looking for the CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Corporation) Mystery Theatre, not the CBS (Columbia Broadcasting System) Mystery Theater. I suspect that the CBC Mystery Theatre predates the CBS Mystery Theater, and I am sure that the two are unrelated. |

Nope. I'm familiar with the Mystery Project - it started in 1992 and is still presenting new mystery dramas today.
The CBC Mystery Theatre would be a predecessor to the Mystery Project, via Nightfall (c. early 1980's), but it is a different show altogether. My guess would be that it is from some time around the late 1950's to 1960's, bu |
