I was wondering if anyone out there might know of a source, or actually have any original transcriptions of various OTR Shows. I have been hunting them down , with limited success. I am willing to buy them, or atleast obtain a direct copy either on reel or cassette. Any help you can provide would be most appreciated.

Well, I have hunted a few down and I am in the process of working out the arraingement for various ones. They are rather hard to come by. I , like yourself, collect these shows, and having no way to reproduce transcription, just play them, I wouldn't trade them. I have a vast collections of reels, and though I could reproduce them, it would take "forever" to do that. See, I just archive what I have, put them into the computer, fix them up with various digitalk audio software to preserve them, in case something ever happened to the original. I am working on contacting a gentleman who owned most of the radio stations here in my home town about discs I know he has to have. When he sold the stations, after about 45-50 years of ownership, he took the collection with him. I know this because I called the radio stations and asked. They said they were not interested in them, and he wanted them. He also is a collector, so I doubt seriously that he will sell. But it doesn't do any harm to ask. Thanks Shawn
