| Does anyone know how many and which particular episodes of Cavalcade of America are on tape. I've seen that the show has been on the air for 20+/- years and that very few dealers have a large number of shows and each dealer's shows are all different. Thank you |

A log of Cavalcade of America is online - at this site. Check the OTR Logs section.
Also check the Humongous Database to see which vendors have some of these tapes. The Humongous Database does NOT, however, contain ALL vendors' catalogs.

| The late John Hickmann of the Washington, DC metro area rescued the full set of COA shows from the CBS radio station in DC back in the late 1950s early 1960s and are now a major part of the John Hickmann Collection at The American University in DC. I remember listening to many of the COA shows on his Big Broadcast and Recollectons program back in the 1970s which, by the way, is still on-the-air and nicely hosted by Ed Walker (one half of the radio team of "The Joy Boys" with Williard Scott). Listen live Sunday nights between 7pm to 11pm (ET) at: www.wamu.org and check out WAMU's website for updates on the Big B |
