Friend of mine found a ring in his yard, in shape of a shield. On it says "Sunbrite Junior Nurse Corps." Is this part of Dorothy Hart Sunbrite Nurse? Could this have been a promotional item given at one time? If it is, could you please give me details for my friend?

"Dorothy Hart, Sunbrite Junior Nurse Corps" is one of the few OTR programs we have virtually no documentary history about, other than the mountain of radio premiums that have survived. Supposedly the series ran from 1937 to 1938, but no audio copies have survived.

OTR merchants have plenty of the radio premiums for sale today, including the ring you describe. It's currently worth anywhere from $ 40 to $ 180, depending on condition. Among the many other premiums offered were: first aid kit, Dorothy Hart paper doll, nurse badge, nurse's uniform, photo of the radio cast, ID bracelet, sewing kit, toothbrush, and brush & comb set.

Jack, is there a site I can view this ring and the other Dorothy hart items on?

I don't know of any such web site. I'm relying on standard references, such as Tomart's Price Guide to Radio Premiums and Hake's Priuce Guide to Character Toy Premiums. Both have lots of pictures of Dorothy Hart's premiums.
