| What an outstanding writeup. Thanks Danny! Are Carters Little Liver Pills still around? |

I'm almost positive Carter's Pills are still on the market. The Federal Trade Commission forced the removal of "Liver" from the brand name either in the late 1950's or early 1960's. From what I read on the controversy, it took about 16 years to force the name change.
With "Liver" but a distant memory, Carter's Little Pills are still on the market, and I think they are known today as Carter's Laxative.

| There was a 1949 movie made of "My Friend Irma" that I have seen on American Movie Classics. It was really neat to see Marie Wilson portray Irma. |
