| I once saw back in some comics I have from the late seventies, an ad for a Fantastic Four radio show. Was this ever broadcasted anywhere or just some rumor Marvel Comics printed up? |

I remember that one comic book publisher, (a real Marvel comes to mind), would use portions of audio from their "1970's Saturday Morning Supershows" to cross-promote their comics. These promotionas also included several read along comic book series for kids. Even the "Star Trek" series was (ab)used this way.
IMHO I believe that none of these "promotional audio presentations" would be considered up to the standards of old time or new time radio. But, then again maybe others have other opinions. |

| The read-along comics series was done by Power Records in the 70's & 80's, which included Marvel, DC, and several TV shows including Trek. Nowhere near the high standard of radio drama, but good for the kids to read along with actors and sound effects as a bonus. I transferred the 45 rpms to cassette to read with my kids, and they're fairly educational. |
