| I have in my collection, as many of you do, 12-cassette recording of the entire broadcast day of September 21,1939 from WJSV in Washington DC. Does anyone know of any other such compilations and how I can get a copy? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! |

| Check out Ted Davenports Radio Memories link in the sponsors page. He has several bookshelf editions including the unedited WJSV broadcast day, as well as CBS's D-Day coverage. You can also purchase NBC's Pearl Harbor coverage from him, though I don't think he offers it in bookshelf format. |

First of all, thanks for the plug. I also have a partial broadcast day on V-J day. They interrupt the MARY MARGARET MCBRIDE show to anounce that the Japanese have surrendered. Thanks again, Bob. I really appreciate it.

| Correction to Ted (and by the way I still am enjoying what I ordered from Ted--he is an excellent dealer!) but what I believe he is referring to is the FALSE V-J Day which occurred on August 10th, when it was thought the Japanese might surrender at any moment.
