I posted a message a few years ago regarding a radio show that I requested information on. The show was called "Where are you From?", and Jack French, I believe, gave me all the details concerning the show. This included the time, type of show, how long it was on the radio, etc. I lost the response and I hope that Mr. French can re post the information, so I can copy it, and keep it. The show was hosted by a professor of Linguistics who spoke to people on the air and gave them their geographic histories based on their accents, words used, pronunciations, etc.

Any information that anyone can supply would be appreciated.

OK, Ray, this is your last chance to copy this....

"Where Are You From?" was a sustaining series on Mutual. It was a half hour show on Wednesday nights, 8 pm (EST). It was on the air from Sept 4, 1940 to Jul 30, 1941. The host-professor was Dr. Henry Lee Smith. No audio copies are known to have survived.
